Hello!

Welcome new backers, and another thank you to those who've been with us since day one!

As mentioned in the subject line, we're not far off getting MORE MONSTERS! It'll be so exciting if we can bring enough backers on board to really make a chunky book of all our favourite SL beasts for 5e!

While we prep the first set of monster battles for your votes, now seems like a good time to share some larger images of some of the fantastic art you can expect in the Creature Collection. These two pieces are from Scott Purdy (Paizo, Monte Cook Games, Pirates of Pugmire, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay)  - he's sharing them on his social media channels, and it looks like that'll be a regular thing during the campaign, so they're worth seeking out! I'll be sharing them over at the Handiwork Facebook page and Twitter too, and that's certainly a good place to share from if you're keen to get those stretch goals busted! MORE MONSTERS!

We Funded! Unleash the Creatures!

Hello!

I think we're far enough across line to start celebrating! We'll done us! We did it!!! You will be getting a 160 page hardcover full of creatures! Thank you so much for your pledges!

Now, can we make it bigger? Our next stretch goal is for even more monsters! We'll add another batch to the book if we can make it to $20,000. 

And that's going to need us to keep pushing the word out there! 

As a KS backer myself I know it's tiresome when creators ask this in every. single. kickstarter, but on this one you'll very directly benefit if we can break through a stretch goal or two (or maybe like, all of them). This book will just keep getting bigger! 

So if you can, please do share it with friends, on forums and on social media. As backers you can go places that we just can't, and there's no better way to bring people on board than your excitement. Thanks in advance if you can find the time to share the campaign. Together we can max this book out!

In doing my bit, as well as spamming up social media and geek news media night and day, I've been chatting to a bunch of podcasts about what we're making, and you'll be able to hear the first of those episodes soon - stay tuned for links!

Creatures on Twitch

More Rewards

Coming up, we've got some more cool stuff in the works- we're just putting the finishing touches to an exciting new reward, which sounds great. Fingers crossed we can make it happen! More info when it's fully ready to go!

More Add Ons

Now that we've funded we'll be adding additional copies of the Creature Collection 5e to Add Ons, so if you'd like more than one copy you can do so by adjusting your pledge by the amount shown on the campaign page, once the Add-On is... added.

EU Shipping

We've had a couple of questions about EU Shipping. To confirm - we are shipping from the EU and the US. I'll update the campaign page to more effectively show this.

Backer-only Previews

In the coming days we'll share the first Backer-exclusive preview. We'll have one of these each week of the campaign, so you'll end up with quite a collection of mini PDFs. Each has a theme, and they look great. Half the book is already completely done - converted, edited, laid out and illustrated.  So we're happy to share.

Creature-Collection-Battle-Royale-Arena-of-No-Return

Also coming up this week, and each week, is our Monster Battle, where you, dear backer, get to decide which monsters make it in, and which go out! 

Each creature will get a chance to appear in several groups doing battle, so don't worry if your favourite gets no-scoped like a default-skinned n00b in the first battle. (Wait, do I spend too much time around kids playing Fortnite?Yes Jon. Yes you do.) We'll have all the details of that when the first battle begins!

Hello! Thank you so much for your pledges! 

We're well on our way to that magic number that allows us to make you a Creature Collection! A rush and a push and we're there, so please do share the campaign far and wide, and let everyone know.

But I'm not just here to pester you to share the campaign (did I mention it'd be great if you could share the campaign?)
