Final 48 hours

So here we are. The campaign is now measured in hours. 

With that in mind, let's have a quick recap of where we are.

• We've gone from 160 pages to 196,  thanks to your pledges, adding chunk after chunk of monstery goodness. It's going to be a weighty book now!

• The digital pack has 2 poster sized encounter map PDFs (and VTT versions), as well as VTT tokens for all the creatures we include in the Collection.

• You've unlocked a CR index, which will be super handy.

We have one more Monster Showdown left to run, and it's the Moon Cat's last chance to make it in. I can't hardly wait to find out the fate of this much loved lunar feline.

We also have one last backer-exclusive preview to go. And the next one will be themed around Demons, Devils and Adjacent.

Check this out - happening live tonight - Matthew Dawkins takes a band of extremely unlucky adventurers through a towering dungeon somewhere deep in Zathiske, where having been freed from their chains at the dungeon's lowest level, they're obliged to face a multitude of monsters from the Creature Collection in order to escape. With a cast of more than 20 player characters and a near-endless horde of murderous critters, this scenario will swiftly get bloody. Matthew, aka The Gentleman Gamer has kindly agreed to provide us with an introduction to the Creature Collection, as a seasoned Scarred Lands GM. Very much looking forward to that!

Backer Bonuses!

Last up for this update: I didn't expect us to get over 900 backers! As a bonus from me personally, I'm going to double up the unlocked Digital Pack map rewards with two bonus battle maps. I make a lot of battle maps for my patrons at www.jonhodgsonmaps.com and I think it'd be a nice way to say thank you for so many of you joining forces to make this happen

With that in mind, if we can get to 950 we'll throw in another bonus to the digital pack - digital "cards" of all the illustrations, which you can show to your players on a tablet, or print at home to show your players.

Let's see if we can make this sucker even bigger! I bet we can!

Monster Showdown the Third!

Yo yo yo, fight fans! It's time to rumble!

As a reminder, we have already converted,  polished, illustrated and laid out 60 monsters from the glorious history of the Creature Collection 3e.  We also have a huge list of suggested creatures from Scarred Lands veterans, players, backers of the previous SL kickstarter, our writers and artists. And we’d like YOU to help us decide who makes the cut.    And so it is we have devised a series of pitched battles between groups of monsters, to see which is the most popular. Voting is open of course only to backers, so please use this privileged position wisely!

Add ons

We've made the Creature Collection itself available as an Add-On.

To Add-On additional copies of the Scarred Lands Creature Collection for 5e, including a PDF and an additional copy of the Digital Pack, add the following:

• For the US: $60 per copy (includes shipping)
• For The UK/EU: $60 per copy  (includes shipping)
• For Brazil: $70 per copy  (includes shipping)
• For everywhere else: $65 per copy  (includes shipping)

So that we don't end up with even more different and, confusing options, we're keeping the physical book bundled with that PDF and the digital pack.

Backerkit

To confirm - we will be using a pledge manager once the campaign closes, and it's very likely to be Backerkit. Don't forget though, that anything you add on in the pledge manager will not count towards stretch goals!

And that note, we're a short way from our next Stretch Goal. I think we'll reveal a bunch of stretch goals (you know there's going to be a lot of "more monsters" in there!) if we reach that milestone, as the remaining time will doubtless fly by!
